I just got officially engaged a little over a month ago and I'd feel wierd if I called them that...but then again, I feel wierd for not calling them that...they love me...

nope i call them by their first names.. fh has a step dad and he doesnt even call him dad. even though he is more of a dad then his real one.
I wouldnt mind calling his mom, mom. But she isnt the type to care either way.

Exactly, that's wierd! I don't want it too seem like i'm being fake or something...I kind of figured it would come naturally ...oh well...I guess when it happens for us it happens for us...

I have been calling my fmil 'mom ' for years now.. But only because she kinda implied I should. Now , it seems natural.

i call them both mom and dad ...i asked them after we got engage ' what do you want me to call you?'they chose what they wanted to be called ..it was easier that way but a little confusing when my parents and them are all together .. i say 'mom' and two heads turn around ..lol

I don't call them anything. When my FH's neice is around I call them Grandma and Grandpa, but they signed my christmas card 'Love, Mom and Dad'.

i just felt that it would be weird to call her mrs. so and so, when im gonna be Mrs so and so . they were cool about it , they would rather me call them mom and dad than their first names

i do both first names and mom and dad..they get freaked out when i call them mom or dad so i think its funny
