I do! I call my mom by her first and DH's parents by theirs as well. I don't think its disrespectful to my mom, it just started when I was a teenager and stuck. Though ocassionally i will slip and call her 'mom'!

I call my parents mom/dad.
His parents, I CANT call them mom and dad. I tried, and it felt so weird.
I only have 1 mom

I'm not even sure I know my parents 1st name. Their names are Mom and Dad.

I call my mom, Mom or MH (her initials). Every now and then I'll call her jacka$$, it's a joke we have.

No, never called my parents by their first names. I call FH's parent's Mom and Dad, too!

I only call my Mom by her first name when I am teasing her or she is making me mad. I have a few colorful names for my dad!

We call my mother mamacita and my father poppy. But when we're feeling whiney it's mommy and daddy. Never by their first name unless we're calling my dad Weenie Wayne

I call my parents Mom and Dad, but I call my stepmother by her first name. I do call my inlaws by their first name. What I find strange is that sometimes my DH, SIL, and their cousins will call DH's grandmother by her first name. But they call their own parents Mom and Dad.

I definitely don't use first names for my parents, but my siblings and I do have 'pet names' for them.

We call my mom The Old Bag, or just The Bag (she's actually very young looking and acting which is why the name is funny and stuck), and my dad is The Male Bag. My sister, incidentally, is The Bagette, because she is a carbon copy of my mom in every way.

Yep, we're a strange bunch.

I do..........I started doing it in high school as kind of a joke and then i got in the habit of doing it and it's just the norm now.

I cant imagine calling my parents by their first names Sometimes If im joking around or being silly I will, but not in an everyday situation. or like Liz said, I call them nonna or nonno for John Anthony...
