both my parents and FH's parents are still together....i hope my parents are happy - sometimes its hard to tell FH's parents you can see how much they still love eachother - i want to be just like them - they are great models for a loving, caring relationship - FH is just like his dad and his dad ADORES his mom - so i feel very lucky

I was just talking about this. I come from a broken home and I didnt realize how hard it was on me until a few years ago. Granted, it happened when I was 8, but you never deal with those feelings until youre an adult. Sometimes I cant even talk about it without crying. Thats why I would never do it to my kids. I know its hard to predict the future and you never know what will happen, but if God forbid something happens between DH and I, I will at least try to make the split up as amicable as possible for the kids (if we have them).

i don't, but my daughter now does, i mean her father, my ex-husband!! but, now she is happy about me and johnny marrying and he has been in her life since she was 2 1/2...she's basically known him her entire little life!!! listen, things don't work out, it's better to not be in a bad situation. my sister is now going through a divorce her stupid *** husband cheated on her while she was pregnant...she let it go, they just separated and she just caught him in bed w/ a 19 yr old, when she went to go to HER house to get some stuff, and she was w/ my 6 month old niece!!! he is a scumbag!! and is totally screwing her w/ a lot of things, but is giving child support!! i want him not to have use of you know what!! this is what gives men a bad name!!

No, neither of us but my mom is a Widow.
same here , fh parents have been together for like 30 yrs, and my mom is a widow for the last ten years but has an amazing man in her life now that i love and live with
