Today is my one year engaged anniversary and tomorrow is my one year anniversary to this site... happy early anniversary LIW!

I think my wedding would be completely different. I only booked 2 original vendors that i knew about otherwise all my other vendors came from recommendations on here. Plus there are so many little extra things to do and I've gotten so many ideas on this site. Without this site I think FMIL would try to run everything!

yes even though i sometimes dont post for a few months here and there (because my life is frkin crazy) LIW is definately a huge help and you ladies are very helpful ... i cant imagine all the info i wouldnt have if i wasnt on this site!

I think I'd be a lot more worried if I booked the right vendors.. like if they'd be really good or not, ya know? Because how do you really know if you if you haven't experienced them before?

At least on this site you can read reviews and hear what everyone elses experiences were..def helpful!

Since I am not from NY, it would have been a lot harder to plan the wedding, BUTTTT I would probably be more productive in other areas of my life, lol!

Planning from VA would have been MUCH MORE difficult, and I wouldn't have had access to the currently popular vendors, pricing, etc. Though I grew up on LI and have tons of family there, and have been to lots of weddings on the Island, the leg work would have been multiplied by astronomical proportions without the help of this site, and really, the BRIDES on the site!!!
