Do you ever feel - - -

That with all the early planning you do........not everything is going to go as planned. I have been thinking about it more and more lately. Even having nightmares about the big day

i will elaborate

the closer i get - the more anxiety i get and i hate it

so, i was talking to some of the married girls on NWR and they assured me it was totally normal so er eill all go crazy together i guess.

Thank G-D - -I really thought that I was the only one. Just feeling anxious and a bit unsure of all the things I still need to do.
I called my RH and made an appointment to come in with my additional list of questions ....and I feel like they think I am crazy

I don't feel that way yet... I don't know if I will...

as long as there's good music, good food, and good booze - that's a GOOD party.

You're not crazy, I email my banquet manager at random times to ask random questions... my last question was if they provided table numbers (I'm lazy)..

Seriously- THINGS WILL HAPPEN THAT YOU DO NOT ANTICIPATE!!!!

The thing is...you can't let it ruin your day....when it boild down to it...all this planning is just for a big party....

EXAMPLE:

The florist forgot one of the Bridesmaid's boKs at Rosella's wedding....no biggie...we got it just in time but if we didn't I would have walked down with her Toss....


EXAMPLE 2:

Her place card holders that we spent HOURS on did not work....no big deal...we improvised...when you're in the swing of things it dosen't matter!!!

You can't sweat it....if you do you're going to be a wreck...plan as much as you can and if it dosen't work out then just go with the flow and ENJOY THE DAY!!!!

I don't feel that way YET, but I know I will. True that you expect everything to go perfectly. Although, I keep having dreams about something happening with the music, I guess cause thats MOST important to me as of now.

well so far

the place where i bought my dress is CLOSING so after my dress comes in i have to go somewhere else and pay $$$$$$ to get alterations and we have nowhere to keep the dress for the next few months before alterations start

if i had waited to get my dress - the store would have stopped taking orders at that point and i wouldnt have this problem

i cried for a few days and threw up but now i found someone to do alterations and i know i will get through this!

YES!!! i still have to do hair/makeup. i'm not even sure how i want it yet....but i keep having nightmares that the wedding is here all of a sudden and i never booked it! last night i dreamed that i had like 30mins till the wedding and my mom and sisters were running me around from salon to salon and no one could do it! One place did my hair and it came out awful!!! and for some reason we had no limos either. i woke up in anxiety!

Im worrying about the weather for MAY of next year! lol, and I have NO control over it, but Im relying heavily on good weather since Im doing photos at the OWG and having an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Once I start thinking about it, I cant stop! lol I have so much time to worry I just need to relax, and hope for the best!

i know it will! i really handled it well and i was very proud of myself. . .i actually never actually cried over it - i just teared up bc my mom started crying. . . and i didnt freak out i just started calling places for alterations. . .

i know it sounds dumb but i am proud bc i am usually the type to crawl into a ball and cry and have it ruin my life but i handled it well. . . i just woke up one night and puked but i cant control how my body reacts lol

I would've flippin flipped! So proud of you! You probably got sick though cause you were holding it inside, and just needed to explode!! But I'm sure it'll all work out. Brides use outside seamstresses all the time! Especially if bought from a sample sale! But anyways!

my biggest fear is that something i booked SO early will get ruined... like the church or hall will double book, and i'll be totally f*ed at the last minute
