Do you ever feel left out of family things?

This has been an ongoing topic with my husband and I all night.

I don't understand the question. Do you mean because of not having you own family (kids) or you are left out of family things from your family?

I sometimes feel left out because we're so far away. Both of our families are still on LI, and we miss a lot. I CAN'T WAIT until we move back!!

DH and I had a major issue with his SIL this xmas about this....and have come to the conclusion...that if people want to see us...they shouldn't make it more difficult for us

Wow, this post struck a cord because this has been an issue that I have been venting about to my DH.

We use to live in a two family with my cousin and when we got married we bought our own house (in the next town over) and moved in the summer. We have only seen them once!

Ever since we moved I have been feeling really left out of family things. You would think we moved hours away!
