Do you ever sit down and practice signing your name with your soon to be new last name?
I just did and it's soooooo weird! it's gonna take a long time to get used to signing with a different last name!

yes and my new last name is sooo long, well only 3 letter difference, but still.

five more letters to my soon to be last name...... and I have a 7 letter first name (which I dont shorten). my hand is going to hurt

Oh yes, especially since I am a teacher and my last name is part of who I am.....I am having issues with changing it

Me too! I work in a school too, I didn't want to change my name at all, but fh was insulted so we agreed I would change it officially, however at school I'm still going by my maiden name. It was a compromise!
