e-ring??

I rarely take it off, sleep in it, shower with it and only really take it off to put lotion on. So, I've been noticing that the skin on my pinky finger that always rubs against the diamonds in my e-ring is getting a little rougher and is losing sensitivity!!! What should I do? I mean I dont want to develop a nasty callous in a few years!!! Has this happened to anyone else?

my comes off when i sleep, shower, clean, go to the gym and sometimes when i come home from work i take it off

I never take mine off either. I actually take it off when I shower but then I put it right back on!!! I feel naked without it on either!

Only to shower and if I do any heavy cleaning. Otherwise I dont. I used to take it off to sleep but lately I have been keeping it on throughout the night.

i take it off to sleep b/c it's in a high setting and i used to stab FH in my sleep. and unless i just forget to wear it, i almost always have it on during the day.

ditto. it comes off when i get in the house. i love it, but i have a hard time wearing jewelry as it is - i'm done when i get in the door. (plus i'm paranoid and feel safer with it in the jewelry box).

Sorry..can't help you there..I have a solitaire so the band is smooth. try using aquaphore..

I take mine off at night but I also have a solitaire so I don't have the rubbing problem.

I take it off when I shower, sleep, do chores, etc... I don't like to be too rough with it, it's so delicate, i'm scared stones will fall out or something..

wow! I'm surprised that so many ladies take it off when they get home from work... I don't want to have to take it off, so I guess I will be talking with the jeweler to see if there is anything we can do...

i keep it on to sleep, shower, i dont really clean and i dont work out, but if i did those things i would wear it
ON the RARE occasion i cook i wear it, it doesnt bother me

I hate not wearing it, i would feel lost without it and would be scared of losing it or misplacing it.

its on 24/7

I take mine off every night because If I sleep with it my hand swell up. But since I lost so much weight (30lbs) I can't fit it.

Hey I lost 30lbs too!! I lost it from Feb to Sept in 2007. Congrats to you!!!

only when im cleaning something gross or if im cooking something where it will get stuck in my ring (or if its chicken etc..) other than that its on me constantly
