i mean, it seems like the same people post day after day, week after week and we all seem to know each other, but i don't think LIW lives on us alone. so who is out there that never ever posts???

I lurked for a long time...even before i was engaged.....then just used the boards to get help on wedding planning. I only started posting when i realized what NWR, etc were......and when i needed advice that i did not see posted.

me too
same here - I also posted a LOT more here on LIW once I was married, even tho I've been a member since 2002. I like to think that I'm enough of a regular here on these boards that I wouldn't fall into the 'lurker' category
maybe lurkers are just shy and use LIW as a research only planning resource? I've never really had any problems with lurkers/stalkers, so I probably have a pretty naive view on this!

Some people are shy about posting. I read a lot more than i post too- and I check back when i find soemthing interesting. So that probably ups the # of views a lot.

I lurk occassionally at work. I'll log in read a post and not have the time to post anything. Something will come up which needs my immediate attention. Been happening a lot lately..
