Do you ever zone out when your DH/FH is talking?

I feel bad, but I do this quite often on the phone with JT. I love him, but all the tiny details of his day are just too boring sometimes! I'm a bad FW!

The other day he asked me a question and he caught me playing with my belly button... He started laughing and said it looked like I was asking belly button for the answer to his question

hehe i do that all the time and he catches me... he'll say something really bizarre, and i catch a snippet of it and go 'huh?' and he'll go 'i knew you weren't listening'... but its usually a work, baseball, or some other thing that takes too long to explain hehe

But he does have tendency to go in excrusciating detail about things and I sort of un-huh him on them. He doesn't just straighten up - he washes the dishes, dries them, puts them away, dusts the LR, dusts the br, and on and on and on.

But I'm not complaing - he does do housework

i cannot answer this for fear that my answers will incriminate me...and FH will find out!!! He does have 100 posts now!

But a friend of mine used to have this problem with her boyfriends all the time. One time her boyfriend got caught not listening and he was forced to admit to it. I thought it was hysterical....but she was a little p i s s e d at him!!

If JT doesn't listen all the time, then he's a darn good faker! I need to get better at faking the listening!

GUILTY
I do it all the time to him. I'm SO bad. He gets upset with me all the time.
He's the perfect listener and remembers everything. He makes me look bad.

LOL, he does it to me more then I do it to him! after I cought him at it a few times, he is not trying hard not to get cought in the 'i am not really here' mode anymore!
