It's odd. I never buy really based upon what is in the magazines. I just buy what I like and stick with the classics. I think trends are silly...even though I get suckered in here or there. A girl can never have enough chandelier earrings you know .

interesting topic. i like trendy things. I don't like to be over the top though, because I am a lil shy and I dont like people staring at me or commenting on what I am wearing.
Unfortunately, i dont have much money to spend on clothes and accessories, so i tend to find myself often behind the times in fashion; when i finally do get to buy stuff, the trend is already over.

well, i work in retail so i have to be somewhat in style. i definitely like trendy things, but i try to stay away from anything too bright or teenager-ish.
i think if i had more $$$ i would be more into trends though at this rate i have to get the best bang for my buck!!

I have that trouble too. Some things were just made for tall girls...I usually make a 'wish-list' of clothing I want from magazines, but I usually don't end up buying them. I should though...

I pretty much buy what I like, regardless of whether or not it's trendy. I actually prefer to be a lil different and not wear what everybody else is. I'm really not into brand names, can't stand doing people's advertizing for them! I know how to dress, I don't need a magazine to tell me!

I def incorporate trend into my wardrobe. I often find myself buying things that never go out of style. Saving for a wedding, who has the money to keep up with these trends???

Some of the trends are way to pricey so I try to do what I can. I think some of the stores charge way to much for clothes I mean I was in the GAP the other day and they wanted $40 for a tank top can you believe a tank top if I am gonna spend $40 for a tank top it better last me quite sometime and be made of something other then cotton which it wasn't.

I try to stay away. I sort of like what I like whether it's in InStyle or not. I like to follow them but I don't really buy. IMO it's a waste of money...most things are out quicker than they come out and everyone walks around looking the same for about a month. The people who wear the trends for a while are 'outdated'...whose got the energy?

I love flipping through Lucky but... nowadays it gets me down since I can't afford anything in it (not that I ever REALLY could... ) with all the wedding planning. I haven't gone shopping or even window shopping in what seems like ages! MUST RESIST!!!!

I buy whatever I like...A lot of the trendy things that are out are for either tall, very skinny, no boob girls...Unfortunately I am endowed on top, so majority of the tops stay on the store racks! I am all about comfort too & a lot of the more trendy things just don't look comfortable!

OMG NO you dont girl!!! I know that by nature, we always want what we dont (or cant have) but serious.. Do you know how hard it is to shop when your over-blessed on top?? Im top heavy so it makes me look bigger overall. Not only that, Im 'blessed' with alot of muscle mass, so when I tell people my real weight, they cant believe it. Not only that, Im very self-concious about showing alot of skin (especially on top), so If I were to even attempt to buy any of these super-trendy tops.. (ESPECIALLY the satin ones that dont strech) I will look like an oaf. lol
