I've heard some people talk about watching their videos in the future. Is this standard or is this something they got from an outside source (just for fun)?

I got one Ask the place where you go for your sono. EVery place has different machines/technology. By next year, they'll be on DVD at some places.

Do they do this in the dr's office where they usually do the sonograms or do they send you somewhere else? I had called my dr's office to see when my next sonogram was and the lady who answered told me the level 2 is done outside the office. I guess I'll have to ask at my next appt.

My sonograms were done at an imaging center... and I wasn't allowed to get the video... just pictures.

I went to BAB radiology. They did a video at my 20 week. I brought the tape to a later sono so they could add on to it, but the woman was a B*T*C*. She said that she has no time to make videos. It was also BAB, but at a different location. There was a VCR there. All she had to do was pop the tape in and let it record while she did her work. Call ahead so you can be sure the location you use will make a tape for you. When I needed another sono I went back to the location where they were nice enought to record it for me. Keep calling until you find a place that will do it if it's important to you.
