Do you girls take your E-ring off for certain activities? <to avoid damaging it, not to flirt!! :)>

So this weekend while I was moving I bent a prong and loosened my whole setting. Thankfully everything was ok and I didn't lose the diamond and it was only like $40 to fix.

But it got me wondering, should I be taking it off more often when I do things like go to the gym, move things around the apartment, etc? Do you keep your ring on at ALL times?

Im not a jewlery person so Im clueless with jewlery care and stuff. Its a platinum ring if that helps.

i used to take it off to clean, shower, go to the gym, etc... but now I just leave it on all of the time... I am thiinking about not wearing it on job interviews... alot of people think that engaged girls that are planning their weddings spend their work day planning the wedding instead of working... I wonder where they got that idea?!

I take it off before I go to bed, when Im doing dishes and cleaning. Im afraid it will come off .

I wore mine all the time until I loosened a prong. Now I don't wear it in the shower. This is also because I;ve lost 10 lbs since getting engaged, and my ring is too big now. I don;t want to part with it for a quater of size though.

I dunno I think for the most part its ok to wear it.

I take it off to wash dishes, shower, and go to the gym. Other than that, it's always on!

I never take mine off. The only time is on the rare opportunities that I am forced into cooking and I have to actually touch the food!

Otherwise it's on 24/7

I take mine off after i get out of the shower and before i put lotion on....but it goes back on my finger when i'm ready to step out the door. there are rare days that i forget to put it back on, but when I do I hate the feeling - I feel naked!

today i took it off when i was putting stuff in my hair - and I forgot to put it back on - i only realized it when i was driving to work...good thing i was only a few blocks away i had to turn around and get it!
