gaudy or obstantatious? I sent a picture of it to my Aunt and she thought that way...
I think she's wrong. I told her the picture is zoomed in and it's actually not big in person.

This picture is in yellow gold, but if I went with it it would be white gold..

What do you ladies think HONESTLY?

i like it. it would certainly look better in all white gold.

maybe the aunt thinks wedding bands should be just plain gold...and anything w/diamonds might seem 'gaudy'

It's beautiful!! I prefer white gold, but it's lovely in the yellow too.

Personally, why do you care what anyone thinks about it. It will be YOUR ring....not everyone is going to like exactly what you like. I say if you like it then go for it, forget what anyone says

You can't tell at all from a photo. My e-ring looks so different in pictures because it's hard to picture the scale of it. Anyway, the ring you showed is very pretty. It's not exactly what I would have picked but I would NOT say it's gaudy. I prefer the ring to be the same all the way around, even if the stones are smaller. Just a preference. Personally, I do like the mix of yellow and white gold (or yellow gold and platinum), but it's not want I ended up with.

Personally I prefer white gold. The ring in not gaudy at all. She must be jealous! Get what you like.
