Do you girls think this wedding ring is...

gaudy or obstantatious? I sent a picture of it to my Aunt and she thought that way...
I think she's wrong. I told her the picture is zoomed in and it's actually not big in person.

This picture is in yellow gold, but if I went with it it would be white gold..

What do you ladies think HONESTLY?
I happen to love it!

I can't believe how much it costs! It's actually very affordable.. I was surprised my self b/c this looks like a 3,000 ring!

I don't think this is anything wrong w/ that ring at all!!! There are a lot of people who think that a plain band is more appropriate otherwise everything is gaudy! I like it and I'm not even a fan of round stones!!!!

Listen the decision is yours!!! There always has to be one sour person in the bunch for no reason!!!! Go for it!

I think it is pretty, my cousin has a similiar ring and it doesn't look gaudy. Plus oyu can wear it alone sometimes. I am not sure what the other word you used means, so I am not going to use it..

Yea, well my aunt told me she thought it was gaudy .. but she's very plain person anyway.. I think she just does not realize the pic is zoomed and she may just be concerned about the money.. but she does not really know what a great deal I could get! I am going back later with my Fiance. I had went on my lunch hour from work! I am so excited. I love it and I don't really care if she does not. She will not be wearing it.. geez.

I think it depends. You don't want it to overwhelm your engagement ring, and if you have small hands (like I do) a ring with a lot of 'bling' will look overwhelming. On a woman with a large engagement ring and long fingers it might look nice. I am getting a wedding ring with diamonds, but the diamonds are smaller, so as not to overpower my engagement diamond. Before I spent the money on it, I would have to try it on to see 1)how it looks on my hand overall; and 2) how it looks with my e-ring.

I would be ordering it in all white gold. I tried it on today with my e-ring and it totally looks great!
It does not overwhelm my e-ring at all. It acutally compliments it very nicely. My mother had come with me and she loves it.. I think my aunt is just a very plain person.. she never even wears make up and she has had her hair the same WAY for like 13 years.. oh well.. can't please everyone. Plus you girls are right it's MY decision really! Well my fiance's of course but we all know the real deal here ladies! :)

Mine is also white gold with diamonds and I think the two together look really classy. As long as you were able to try it on and you loved it, then you should definitely get it. It took me trying on a ton of rings with my e-ring before I was wowed. You have to get what you really like, or else you'll order something else and always wonder.

First and foremost...is your aunt going to wear it? Didn't think so...let her worry about her own plain wedding band.
Secondly, it's not gaudy at all.

If you aunt saw my rings she'd be horrified by my gaudiness and ostentatiousness. In fact I suspect some of my family members ARE. But I didn't choose my wedding band for THEM I chose it for ME.

That's the ring I'm getting in platinum!! I love it!! At first I thought it might be too much, but my jeweler was like 'you'll get used to it' - and I think he's right!

ditto ditto. Actually, I think that ring would go PERFECTLY with my e-ring, too. If you don't mind, can you FM me where you're getting it (any maybe a ballpark of how much, too!). I think it's GORGEOUS! Wear it in good health!
