FI and I have been arguing over comforter set for months and I saw this today and just bought it w/o consulting him first. I know he likes asian style, so I can't see why he won't like this but when I called him to tell him that I bought it he got all pissy because I didn't ask his opinion.

JMO - I don't like it. It looks to silky and pretty for a bed. I have boy taste when it comes to beds. I like my beds to look comfy LOL

They look really nice. My FH would hate them! Si;k can get sticky, yanno? also my mom told me never to buy anything like that. She ahd one, washed it and it fell apart. So just be careful! I've been warned by severeal people about those!

I think they are ok.... a little shiny... FH would hate them as well. My fmil always told me not to get silk bedding sets b/c they fall apart and one time she slipped/sled out of bed lmao what she was doing I dont want to know but picturing her sliding off the bed

I like it- We have something similiar but not as silky looking. My FH didn't like it to sleep under so we bought a white down comforter- a lite one and we sleep with that and just fold the nice one back. This way it will always look pretty-

I think it depends on the room. If the rest of the room is really simple - I think it would look really nice. If you have the wrong carpet or draperies - it's going to be too much

That's soo funny!! Me too!! I'm all stripes and blues and plaids!!!
But why do guys want to be all involved in these kinds of decisions??? Like I really need FH consulting me on linens or curtains!!! C'mon!!! Go pick out BBQ tools or a lawnmower!! Don't see me giving my two cents there!!

I do like it. But, why is it that you both have to agree on EVERYTHING? I know that my fi and I have different taste. But, we both work, we both pay bills. If I like something, I will buy it. If he likes something, he will buy it. We don't wait for each other's approval on everything. So, there is some stuff in our home that he doesn't like, but it doesn't bother him that much and vice versa.
