We're re-doing our bedroom and the furniture set-up that would make the most sense might prohibit us from having a TV in there. Just wondering who has a TV in the bedroom and who doesn't and how it's working out for you?
For the most part, we only put the TV on in the morning while we're getting ready and, sometimes, I stay in there on the weekend and watch cheesey Lifetime movies

yes, we do. it's on every morning while I am getting ready for work. I like to watch Good Day NY in the AM.
it's our 2nd TV, so when DH is watching some shoot em up gross war movie, I go in there and watch what I want.
I wish we would have gotten a flat panel though. it's so big and bulky!

we do but we dont watch it. We have Xbox attached to it. (which can play movies too) Anthony likes to watch and play video games that are not appropriate for Gabe. I wish we didnt have it at all IMO it looks ugly LOL
We just threw out our regular TVs and bought a huge flat screen b/c I dont like the way TVs look

We do. It gives us a chance to watch separate things. And we love watching that 70s show before bed.

I was actually considering not having one in the bedroom...I read somewhere that it reduces the frequency of sex between a couple...I don't know that could be completely rediculous

We don't have one. We keep the bedroom reserved for other things... We do have a cable line in there, so if one of us is sick we can bring a tv in from one of the spare bedrooms to watch while we are sick in bed.

We have one and it works out pretty well, because there are times when his show is on the same time as my show. (For instance he likes to watch WWE which comes on the same time as CSI)

We both have tvs in our bedrooms. When we move in together, we have an LCD tv that I won that we will mount on the wall. My current tv is a flat screen but has the regular back so its kind of big. I was on a winning streak at work and have won 3 tvs, I gave one to my parents, kept the other one and won the last one a few months ago.

Nope, no t.v. in the bedroom. We only have the one set in the living room. We always watch programs together.......a lot of basketball lately

DO NOT PUT ONE IN THERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT..... here's why....if you have one in there, even if you are dead tired, you (mostly guys) will turn it on and keep watching....or you'll fall asleep with it on...either way, you end up with LESS sleep because of it...I wish we didn't have one...and soon we won't...FH even got DVR so he wouldn't stay up....but he stays up watchign all the stuff he DVRd over the week!!! It's honestly in everyone's best interest to not do it. When you're tired, you should go to bed, not go watch TV.

It's plausable..think of the long hours we all live...if you go to bed and start watching a TV show, once it finally ends, you are too tired for sex. (And it will be YOUR fault)
