Do you have a TV in your bedroom?

We're re-doing our bedroom and the furniture set-up that would make the most sense might prohibit us from having a TV in there. Just wondering who has a TV in the bedroom and who doesn't and how it's working out for you?

For the most part, we only put the TV on in the morning while we're getting ready and, sometimes, I stay in there on the weekend and watch cheesey Lifetime movies

yes i heard that, too! FH was real quick to point that out.....

It's plausable..think of the long hours we all live...if you go to bed and start watching a TV show, once it finally ends, you are too tired for sex. (And it will be YOUR fault)

We heard that as well, and since we got new furniture I wanted to put the TV away so it would not scratch the tops of the furniture . So we did not put the TV back in our bedroom and now has decreased. So I ordered this plastic stuff to go on top of the new furniture and will be putting the TV back in the bedroom. We don't watch any naughty shows, but if we watch the tv a little bit then we are already awake and will otherwise we just go on the computers to play games or watch tv in other rooms and are not together so the romance is not there. So moral of the story for us, is that the TV will be brought back into the bedroom.

TV has not decreased our sex life, 2 kids, 2 jobs, a dog and a house has!!-lol!
I never believed this. If you REALLY want to 'do it', you will just turn off the TV!

we have a tv but its a 15'lcd- very small and its too far away to really 'watch' anything - its more for background noice for me to fall asleep to - or to watch if im doing something in the bedroom

if i didnt have an issue falling asleep without the tv, i would recomend that no television is needed

We do, we usually go to bed early to watch the shows we want which I think is nicer then wathing them in the living room across from one another

We do. It takes up a lot of space though.

We do not have a TV in the bedroom. We have one in the living room, one in the guest bedroom and a tiny one in the kitchen.

I had heard that it is not good to have the TV in the bedroom. We also rarely eat in front of the TV. We have all our meals at the dining room table.
