Do you have digital or GSM service on your cell phones

Just curious if everyone is buying GSM or still getting phones with digital. Thanks!

From what Ive heard from AT&T they are phasing out their digital service in the next few years. GSM is the future.

I didnt know what it was either. It is supposedly the next generation, they call it in phones. I still have digital and want a newer phone, but dont know if I should stick with digital. They say GSM doesnt have a good connection, from what I hear and will be better within a year. My husband has it and alot of his calls go to voicemail. I just dont know if that is what everyone is buying now. I thinnk it is what you need if you want access to the web on your phone, etc.

How is your connections with GSM? I am staying with AT&T. Would you recommend going to GSM?

I have no problems with my phone. I also have t-mobile. I have internet on my phone.
Tammy- I think its something to do with the satelites???

I have enough problems finally learning my phones then by the time I do I get a different phone!

I have tmobile and Gsm also. I think most of Tmobile phones have GSM becasue it is a foreign company. GSM lets you use your phone in other parts of the world. Though AT&T is GSM also.

I find it's the same kind of service as digital.. technically, it IS digital..

I have this phone..

It's a different type of technology that's all.. supposedly in teh future most, if not all phones will be GSM.. another feature is that it can be used internationally
