Does anyone have money lft over to pay all their bills and mortgage yet still save something I have friend who say Oh my mortgage is only 1600 a mth but yeah they bought like ages years ago.

not a penny...well it isnt that bad but for right now we are not really saving anything to brag about maybe 50-100 bucks a month.

yes, we have several thousand left after closing and we do have money after each payment since our mortgage is only $940 a month.

Right now, $100 a month more each much that we save, but once I am done w/ school this year and no longer have to pay tuition I am hoping to save more each month so we can make more improvements.

We do have money left each month! Some months more than others! Its tough to judge until you really live in teh house for about 6 months, how you are doing with $$ because there are alot of bills the flucuate and there is the cost of painting, decorating and furniture etc!
We have lived here for almost a year now and we have saved a decent amount. And the way someone told me to think of it, is even if the first 2 years you struggle a little, it will get easier as your salaries go up (not considering children into the mix at that time)
