Do you have to address the inner envelope or is it okay to leave it blank? I am addressing my invitations myself and my invitations have an inner pochette/envelope that won't fit through my printer. So, in order to address them I would need to handwrite them in calligraphy. (I took a calligraphy class in college so I'm not too bad.) I was thinking of hand addressing only the ones that I need to (i.e. those invited with a guest or with children) and leaving the rest blank. what do you think? I don't want to do all of them because it will take me forever and I'm afraid I will make too many mistakes.

I think it would be fine just to do the few that need it done. I get plenty of invites that don't have it.

if you have to do it yourself, i'd say leave them blank unless necessary

I just wrote 'Mr and Mrs Smith' (for example) on the inners...and of course, the whole thing on the outers

The inner is just for the names, w/o the address. But if it's a problem, I don't think anything is wrong with leaving it blank...
