Do you have to decorate the Seating Card table?

Cant I just use the place cards, that match my invites and flowers?

Everytime I come on here, I get depressed you girls are so into this, I feel like maybe Im not doing enough. Not an insult.

Some people may opt to use rose petals and such to decorate. It depends on what you want. it you are having your placecards in frames on the table that would be nice as well. I have seen these tables sans 'decorations' and thought nothing of it.

You absolutely don't have to. I swear I have never noticed it. Usually I just walk in and get my card and keep going.

I know where I am having my wedding, there is a person directing you to it, and away from it...so I doubt there will be anytime to even notice something decorating the table!

I used rose petals scattered, and it looked NICE!!!!
I personally think it is a waste of money. Plus I had bride/groom bears on the table...along with a saying I typed up in a beautiful frame

I was thinking of taking my flower baskets from church and putting one on the table.

Rose petals, hmm I ordered them for the church since I cant use them Ill have the florist deliver them to the Stewart Manor good idea Helene

Thanks Jenn! I belong to a really small congregation and my FH and I are pretty involved in the church. They are pretty much letting us do whatever we want! I've heard that some churches do that though.

We're just scattering rose petals and we're using the hall's placecards, not the special kind

Jenn - too funny! When you go to a friend's house, don't they usually send you home with the leftover cake when they have too much?!

lol, the church uses them all week, the same way i'd feed my face with cake all week if someone left it to me! LOL!!!

If you paid for the flowers at the church...I would take them. Otherwise they will go to waste.
I wanted my dad to take my church flowers, but he took th eones on the pews instead. They were not the ones I wanted.

I say take the ones from th echurch if you paid for them.

I have no problem taking them, but I know my church is ok with it. If for some reason the church had a problem with it, even if I disagreed, I wouldn't dare take them either. I wouldn't want to upset anyone.

We used one of the centerpieces on the table with the placecards. We also only used the cards given by Crest Hollow. They weren't the nicest, but I had better things to spend my money on besides place cards that people trash anyway.
