I really really wanna do the bouquet toss but do you have to do the garter as well? My fiance is shy I dont think he will want to do that..Can it be one without the other?

you can do it any way you wish- were not doing either. just make sure your dj knows- but its your wedding- you shouldnt do anything that makes you or him uncomfortable

No none of my friends did it or the bo-kay toss they just did the Anniverary Dance.

I love the anniversary dance...i saw it for the first time at a wedding a few months ago. I am definitely doing that at our wedding.

This is in lieu of the bo-k toss/garter. The DJ/band calls all married couples out onto the floor & starts a song, he keeps saying couples that were married less than one year sit down,couples less than 5 years....the longest married couple you give your bo-k to. It's really sweet.

We did it but you don't have to do it!! Everyone does the anniversary dance now a days. I don't even go up anymore because I know in 2 seconds I will have to sit down
Maybe you can think of something different to do.

No, you don't 'have' to do it. We aren't doing the garter or bouquet toss. I always hated getting dragged up there to do it when I was single. Plus we are having very few single people at my wedding.
