Do you have to make an appointment to register at Fortunoff's
OMG--I still have not registered yet--between work, looking for a house and planning for the wedding-I have neglected one of the most important parts. I just wasn't sure if I could just walk in and register. I also plan on going to Bloomingdales. What has your experience been like at Fortunoff's??

No appointment necessary...however, if you go on the weekend, just get there early...it gets crowded.
My experience there was ok...no complaints.

I remember a thread a few weeks back that Fortunoffs throws in some cool stuff when you register with them. Try a search!!
PS--Thanks for the Reem/Wedding Salon info!!

No freebies here either , but the experience was good. We got there at opening time on Sunday. I liked the variety. Go have fun!

No appointment is needed, but luckily i opened my registry with them when the westchester location was just opening and i came home with a shopping bag of free stuff from there! We couldn't wait to open it up when we got home- feilt like x-mas!

We went on a weeknight and didn't have a problem. We didn't get any freebies besides some bridal magazines. Actually, I think they give you a coupon incase you want to buy your wedding band from them.

I only registered at Fortunoff. I love that store. The sales people were very helpful. As mentioned before, you get a one day chance to purchase anything on your register that wasn't bought for 10% off. You will also get 10% off your wedding bands if you register there. They also gave me a voucher for a 1 day free trial bridal makeup application at the Maximus Spa/salons. I then got an American Express $100 Travel certificate, as well as a 10% discount off the purchase of your attendants' gifts(for jewelry). People can order on-line and they also have free gift wrap.
