We met with ours about 2 weeks before to drop off a payment (of course ) and to go over the schedule, close family members, things to look for (readings, toasts, special songs sung by a guest, anything slightly out of the ordinary) and directions.

You should. You should give ALL of your vendors printed directions to each place they have to go (bridal house, ceremony site, reception site, special photo area). I also gave each vendor a printed schedule of events. I also went over some special shots that I wanted. I trusted that they would get the 'normal' stuff but some brides also go over that.

You should definately go to be sure he has all the correct info about where to go and what pictures you want.

We still have to take our engagement pictures & give him more $$, so at that time I'm going to give him a list of pictures we want. I also plan to call all my vendors a week before the wedding to drive them all crazy & make sure everything is in order

I met with mine a few weeks ago to go over details, but I'll be calling him again to give him directions everywhere...

Yes, we did, our Wedding is in 3 weeks and we went last week, just to go over final details and of course to drop off money. We really needed to - the last time we met with him was when we booked them about a year and a half ago!
