We like a house in West Babylon but with North Babylon School district. We really don't know much about the South Shore. Can anyone provide with some info. or what to look out for in the Babylon areas. Thank you.

North Babylon is where my FH went to HS. My understanding is that it is okay - but not top notch. FH's mother mentioned that there have been a few problems with race riots and racial tensions in recent years.

the west babylon school district is actually significantly better than the north district

I don't know much about the high schools or middle schools in North Babylon. But I can say that I just student taught at an elementary school in North Babylon, and in my opinion the school is really great. All of the teachers are really nice and dedicated to their professions. In addition, I know that they score really well on the state exams. I hope this helps! Good luck!
