i think my moms dress was like 499 before alterations! prob more then she wanted to spend but it was cheaper then most.

at first my mom didnt want to spend too much, but she didnt realize how expensive the dresses run. I think hers was between 500 and 700. i'm not sure exactly. her dress is gorgeous on her though, it's so worth it!

Havent ordered hers yet, but she will prob spend a few hundred. My mom is usually a pretty thrifty shopper and is always looking for the best price on things but I know she is totally psyched about her MOB dress so she will prob go a little overboard compared to her usual. Actually, when we went to the trunk show for the designer of my dress, she saw a WEDDING dress that she liked and asked if they could do it in a color for her as a MOB dress!!!!!! I had to explain to her that either way, she is going to have to pay the full price regardless if she is the bride or not My mom is pretty young tho, and she dresses it too, so I' m not sure where she will go to get her dress.

My mom's was somewhere around $550 before alterations. It's a Jovani dress, she got it at Bridal Reflections.
ETA: Unfortunately she could have gotten it for way cheaper if she got a chance to look around, but she waited until the last minute (like 3 weeks ago) to order, so def. try and look as much in advance as you can.

I think my mom was $250 or $300 but she deff. could wear it again. My FSIL who is acting as MOG is spending more on her dress though - she wants to be very formal.

my mom and I are going to try to find her a BM dress instead of a MOB dress.. a lot of them can pass as a MOB dress and they're half the price...

my mother would shoot me if i told you how much she spent on her dress. she got such an amazing deal that she bought two dresses, and might wear one to the church and one to the reception. FM me if you want details. One dress was originally over $380 the other was originally over $300 depending on where you got it from.

FMIL spent about $500 on her dress, and for her that was a good price, she was willing to spend twice that , but we told her there was absolutely no need. Her dress is beautiful on her, and she can def use it again.

I think my moms was just under $400 and its by Private Label by G and my FMIL paid $700 and hers is by Jovani.

Have her try Totally You in Bellmore. They have a huge selection and great prices.
My mom was around $600 and my FMIL was around $700. Honestly, you can get something really nice for a lot less than that, but they fell in love. For my brother's wedding my mom only spend $400 at Totally You!
ETA: My mom wanted me to change this and say she only spent $350 for my bro's wedding. Mom's a lurker!!

im no help cuz my mom is making her own dress (she sews ballroom dresses and such for herself as a hobby).
but i was talking to fmil...and i think she said she was looking in the 200-300 range and would be willing to pay more if it was something she loved.
i was going to tell her to check stores like lord and taylor, bloomingdales and macys...they all have like fancy adult dresses that might be cheaper than a bridal shop.
