I HATE GOING TO THE DR. I think its because the last time I went the told me I needed to lose weight (as if I didn't already know that) and then charged me extra money to tell me I was fat.
I keep having this pain in my leg. Only when I touch it. And it like moves all over my leg. I said something to my friend who works for a vascular surgeon. She told me that I could have a Clot in my leg. Im freakin out. She said I could goto the hospital her dr. works at. But I hate the Dr. and im really freaked out. And mike has work at 3 so I don't want him to not goto work. But I don't want to bymyself.

I feel for you, it can be really scary. I don't like the docs and I go all the time, but if you are in good hands with a good doc, it makes it easier. My doctor is the best!! I trust him completely. It won't get better on its own..unfortunately. Let us know how it works out for you! Feel better.

I hate going to the doctor also but I don't really go that often, Only recently throughout my pregnancy and then afterwards. I guess the reason we don't like it it's because of the fear that they will say that there is something wrong with you.

Oh yeah, I was told I don't have to be weighed every time. It is just used to keep track of your loss or gain.

I am not a medical doctor and I don't know the details of your leg pain, but if you honestly think that there is a legitimate chance that you have a blood clot in your leg, you need to run, not walk, to the nearest emergency room. That is not something to play around with. It is worth getting over the fear of going by yourself. Please go!

I go to the doc every 6 weeks for f/u on a chronic condition and they try to weigh me each time and I refuse each time.

Me too. I actually love going to the dermatologist--no wait, and my skin feels silky smooth after! Hate gyno (long wait, icky visit), love podiatrist (ingrown nail, but he is so nice and never a wait, and looks like a movie star )...

Same here ... I truly feel so much more at ease that my gyno is a woman. She is so cool, practically like a friend. And I know she can relate to what I'm going thru better than a man who's never gone thru a period, let alone all the other fun stuff we ladies have to endure

I know how scared you are about going to the doctor... generally speaking I HATE going to ANY doctor myself. But I agree that you should go get this checked out as soon as you can. I'm sure its nothing serious , but at least for peace of mind you can come to some sort of diagnosis perhaps

My Gyno is a man...been going to him for 20 years. Yeah, the whole exam thing would be the same if it was a woman but it's done in 3 minutes anyway.

I hate the Dr ( all types) so much that I don't go. I know I sould, but it is some sort of psychological block- I just can't make myself find one & make an appt.
I had a pain in my leg a couple of years ago that people told me could be a clot so I went to a dr & then sent me to a radiology place & they did a sonogram & there was nothing & then it magically went away. I think it was bad shoes.
