Do you like your first name? Do you have a nickname?

My first name is Maureen which I hated as a child but I really like it now. My nickname is Mo or MoMo. I can't stand to be called Reenie

First name= Kysha

People mostly call me Kysh (pronounced Quiche)

I like it. I like how their is a song for my name too. Its by the allman brothers band.

Nicknames: Mel or Liss.

I hate hate hate hate with a passion Missy. UH!!! I give people the evil eye if they call me Missy

My full name is Amanda...my grandparents are the only ones that call me that!

Everyone elses uses Mandy!

And yes, I love Barry Manilow.

Kim is cool, I don't love Kimberly...

nicknames are K, Kimber (FI calls me that), Kimmy (my brother harrasses me with that name..I hate it!)

I love my name...Colleen...absolutely abhor when people - who don't know me - call me Coll. Never had a nickname growing up...probably cause I hated Coll.

My best friend calls me Jordan.

My name is Helena, and I've always loved it! Growing up, I had all the Melissa's and Katherine's in my classes, so I was convinced that I was the only girl in the world with my name until I was around 11 or 12! :) Even now, people still tell me I have a pretty name, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I have a bunch of funny nicknames that really have nothing to do with my actual name - Pumpkin, Poop, Bonnie (from a joke I told 10 years ago!), but my favorite nickname is 'Hena' - it's what my youngest sister used to call me when we were babies because she couldn't pronounce the L's yet. She's the only one that till calls me that now too! :)

I HATED my name growing up and still dont love it, however I do get compliments. My name is Faith...but I always wanted a more common name.

Chloe is my kittys name

Edited to say....the only nicknames I had was my dad used to call me Faithie and my closest friend growing up calls me Fay.

My first name is Katherine but everyone calls me Kathy or Kat. I rather have people call me by Kathy. Usually the people closest to me calls me Kat it all depends.

Denise - I always liked it - or at least it never bothered me. When I was younger I hated my middle name Julia but now I really like it a lot.

The only real nickname I have is Niecey (NIECE - E). that really started in college and mostly only my college friends call me that - a few other picked it up here and there.

I despise being called Dee!!!!!! Absolutely hate it. My DH picked it up somewhere and now his whole family calls me it. I always tell him I hate it. I told his family it was my biggest pet peeve too! But for some reason they all still do it. There are a few random people that do call me Dee and have done it for awhile and I can accept that but when I hear some people say it - it just grates on my nerves - like fingernails on a chalkboard...I especially hate it though when someone new just takes liberty to call me that. I always correct them too.

how annoying. I hated it as a kid wanted to be called Crystal instead for some reason.

My names alright, but it's a basic latin name.. so almost every language has a dirivative of it.

Ive been internet active since 1993 with this same nick.. so people who met me from online and became real life friends call me by the nick of this nick.

My first name is Lisette... I wasnt too happy with it growing up b/c I could never find any personalized paraphanelia (pencils, license plate tags, mugs, etc...) Of course over time I learned to appreciate it ever since I learned I could have been named AWILDA, after my Grandma (even though I love her to death, the name just isnt 'me'). I usually get compliments b/c its not as common, even though I know a handful of girls with my name spelled in different ways. My nickname since I was a teensy little girl is Lissy and everyone pretty much calls me that between family and friends.

I love my name...never met another Doreen in my life until recently. I like to be different!

Not to many nicknames...some friends call me Do..but that is abou it.
