We don't....in fact we don't even live very close to each other! I live in East Meadow, and he lives in NYC on Roosevelt Island..so its about a 45 minute trip.
I know some people want to wait until they get married to live together, but I don't want to go another two years without getting to see him more than twice a week.

Yea, I moved in to his apartment about 2 months ago...i still dont stay 7 days a week though, i go home one night during the week. I refuse to not live with someone before getting married, what happens if you cant co-habitate with them?? Wouldnt you want to know before you vow to spend the rest of your life with them...just my opinion though...we used to live a half hour apart though, I was in Massapequa and he was in North Babylon...
does anyone have any tips on how to get along with your FH in a REALLY REALLY small space? it seems we are having space issues...

I've been living with my FH for 2 1/2 years in my parents house. Now if thats not hell I dont know what is. We are both living in this tiny room of mine and it's been a rough 2 1/2 years. I love him more then anything but we get in eachothers way. So we make sure to try to have our own time. He'll go play his xbox lol in the den while i sit in my room on here or i'll go out with my girls and he'll hang with his. Its hard but you can make it work! Good luck

We dont live together in the same house...but I am always by his house...I would like to move in just so that I can stay in one place...We might move in with one another soon...but for now this is fine...we live about 3 minutes away from one another

We don't live together, we live about 30 minutes from each other. I'm in seaford and he's in franklin square. And we only see each other on fridays and saturdays. I would like for us to move in with each other before we get married, FH is working on that, hopefully going to buy a house within the next year. This way we will get to see each other on a daily basis

We have been living together for about 1 year now. We had some problems at first with space b/c I need my space. Like time to myself to read and what not. So it was definitely an adjustment but I wouldn't have it any other way!

when he 1st bought this place we had a ROOMATE in the 2nd bedroom to help with bills since fh refuses to take money from me..
well his friend(pos ahole) was a NIGHTMARE! he was soo rude. id slave in the kitchen every nite making dinner for ALL of us! fh would tell me i dont have to feed him but still..how could u not feed some1 in the house? anyway he would come to the kitchen table in his boxers with nasty shoulder and back hair and his hands in his boxers scratching his uhmm..yea..
eat my food , burp, fart and go 'ehhh it was ok'
JUST OK!? u ate everything!!! it was horrible..anywya we broke up cuz i couldnt take it anymore. i moved out for like 2 months and fh realized i was a bish cuz of this stupid roomate,,and i was tkaing it out on fh..
we got back together and he kicked the roomate out..we almost posted a curb alert on cr--gslist cuz he took to long to get his stuff out..
then we get another roomate that i also hated.....but how can he be worse????/right? WRONG
this 1 was/is a lazy pos with curly black hair..... he would TRIM his hair in the bathroom sink and not clean up... so the hair would fall all over the sink and the toilet.......yea..his hair looked like pubes..... how NASTY! we would have to explain to our friends that came over what a dirtbag he was...
kicked him out..
and we've been living in peace ever since..
NO MORE ROOMATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
every1 needs their space....just get fh a nintendo wii and a massage chair.. u wont see him for days lol

We've lived together for 3 1/2 years now and I'm glad we chose to do it. We've been able to iron out alot of things and found out alot more about each other this way.

We live together and love it! I'm also a bit older than most of you, so I did get to enjoy my time living on my own when I was younger. We decided to move in together because we just didn't want to waste anymore time living apart. He lived in Westhampton and I lived in Franklin Square...it was a hell of a commute, but we did it, and then we got tired of it! We now live together in Babylon and it is the perfect compromise!

OMGGGG 'GRK'' WE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE ... we had a roomate( he was here before i moved in ) and he was a lob would not clean ,.... would not wash the dishess( and i would cook for home because i felt it was rude not no ) and worst of alll HE WOULD PEE ON THE FLOOR IN THE BATHROOM... SO FINALLY ONE DAY I FLIPPED I TOLD HIM U R AN FING PIG ... AND U CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE REST
BUT THE ANSWER THE ?, AT HAND yes we do live together for about a yr now we had a roomate for 6 months and weve been 6 months wihout one ... and its been great

We have lived together for about 3 years now, and will continue that till the wedding of course. I would never marry someone without living with him first, just in case. Not that it was ever hard with FH. We took to living together like fish to water. Absolutely no problem whatsoever. My only regret was not moving in sooner LOL.

We moved in together June 1st. Almost one year ago! However, we've been together since freshman year of college so our situation was a little different.
We lived on the same freshman floor, and then I lived on campus all 4 years and he lived on campus for 3 and then got an apt 2 minutes away. We both had apts last year, about a 5-8 min drive from eachother. We spent a lot of time at eachother's places.
We had been planning the move for about 6 months... my roommate was moving to FL for law school, his was moving to TX for a job, and he was graduating w/ his masters and could no longer live in univ owned apartments. I loved my amazing 2br apt and didnt want to move... our leases ended the same day... so... he moved in with me!
my parents werent thrilled at first but turned around quickly (we'd been together almost 5 years by then, and our situation was perfect for both)
I LOVE LIVING TOGETHER!!!! even if we're doing different things, i like knowing i can walk in the other room and see him. plus, we have 2 kitties together now.
We didnt have a hard transition -- i knew he is loud, he knew i am messy, and while we turned the 2nd bathroom into a den, it's nice to not be cramped in a tiny space.

we have been living together now for 1 year and 7 months. it was a small transition for me since i never lived with a guy before but he had lived with gf's before so i think it was easier for him..
i think its important to know you can handle living together before getting married and wouldnt get married without doing so first. its a great thing always having your best friend with you

FH and I don't live together, but we live about 20 min away from one another. (i'm in seaford, he's in lynbrook). I see him mostly on the weekends since i am too busy during the week w/ work. We want to try and save up to eventually buy a house by the time we are married!
