I've read that it's good to check other bride's registries bc then you can get an idea of the kind of things you should be registering for. Like you can say, oh yea I forgot to register for one of those!! Or, I really like that I'm going to add it to mine!!

I've only looked at registries of bride's that I know, but if I came across someone with the same name then I'd take a peek too!!

i got alot of slack for my registry choices-

yes! similar to you there was someone with DHs (ok, now MY) last name that got married in Florida or something and I looked at their registry

I look at other people's registries so that I can get an idea of what to put on mine. I'm guilty of it! And, sometimes after I go to a shower, I register for stuff that the bride got because I liked it.

I thought I was the only psycho....I did that when I was having a hard time picking out my everyday china...FH thought I was crazy and called me a registry stalker.

i look at my friends registerys - someone registered for a fondue set, which of course i had to register for as well! you never know what you have missed!
