Do you need to have your headpiece for a hair trial??
My dress hasnt come in yet, and I dont know if I'm going to wear a headpiece or not yet. Should I wait to schedule a hair trial?? Thanks!

I think you can go now, sometimes your hairstlye dictates what kind of headpiece you want/need to get. I am planning on wearing my hair mostly down, and the way it looks best will determine if I have hairpins or a whole clip/tiara.
In my opinion, you need to know what your hair will look like before you can decide, unless you already know how you want your hair to look.

I did mine without one. But I told the hair stylist that I'll be getting a tiara.

You should probably go ahead and schedule the trial, since you've got six months to go. I would suggest borrowing a headpiece and/or veil from a friend and bringing it to the trial, just so you can get an idea of how the style would look, with and without a headpiece. Take lots of pictures both ways and it will help you make a final decision when your dress comes in.

You don't need one, but it definitely helps!

the hairstylists say that you do, to get the full idea of what your hair will look like. I've gone to a bunch w/out. This last one, I already picked the lady, I will go wtih the Tiara.

I’m the odd ball out. I took two tiaras with me to my trials.
I was undecided between a simple straight line or a small peaked tiara, both of a floral design. (God bless ebay). I tried both on with each trial to see which fit better.
When I finally decided on a style and therefore tiara, I was going to sell the unwanted one back to ebay. Instead Sara, my hairstylist, bought it from me for trials for brides who don’t have their own tiaras yet. Actually I sold it way cheap, $10, which is how much I paid for it anyway.

I didn't have a tiara for mine, but I wish that I had!! It really would have helped.

it all depends on your hairdresser...I know mine wants me to wait until I have my headpiece so she can work with that. I have showed her pictures of what I want & she has played with my hair while I was their, but not an official trial til I have my tiara.
