I'm going over our sheet for the final payment to the Carlyle and I realize that they added in the 20% tip for the staff & then the 8.63% sales tax for the event on the new total. Is that how it is for all of you too or could this be a mistake?

i hope they made a mistake or if not I hope my hall doesn't do that. I figured the tax and tip seperately. they add the tip and then tax it all I'll be dead.

techincally they can tax it cause its more of 'Service Charge' then calling it a tip.
Crappy way to squeeze out more money but then again, they really wouldn't be makeing that much extra cause they have to state its taxable when they file taxes...
