Do you plan on wearing your veil at your reception?

I just don't think I want to take it off after my ceremony...this is my only chance to wear one...so I want to wear it all day and night.

I always said that I would never take mine off, but mine was a fingertip length and it got annoying...I wanted to wrap a pony-holder around it... .

I ended up taking mine off after our first dance. You don't have to decide this now, you should just wait to see what you feel like doing that day.

I plan on keeping mine on at the reception! I will only be a bride once!

I had a fingertip-length one and I didn't take it off at all because I didn't think of it. It was going to be another thing I would have to remember to pack, but I liked the feel of it. I wore it in the back of my head (as opposed to the top) so it didn't bother me at all.

See...this is where my dilemma comes in...I don't want to wear my veil in the back of my head...I want it somewhere on top...I think I'm going for an updo and want the veil placed right in front of it...I'm afraid it may annoy me all day long being in my face...

I will have a 2 tier fingertip and a cathedral veil. I will leave on the fingertip veil for the reception and take off the cathedral after taking pics.

ETA: I will wear my fingertip veils on the top of my head and the cathedral on the back.

Mine was on top. I think that's why it was annoying. On me, I liked the way it looked better on the top.

I am keeping mine on... some veils actually have detachable layers... I am keeping the full veil on though! Is your veil in yet? Once you actually geit and put it on you will be able to decide what you think will be better!!!

Mine is coming off right after the ceremony. I will be wearing a cathedral length veil.

I am taking off the catherdral veil after the ceremony and leaving the fingertip veil on.

my veil is attached to my headpiece so i have to wear it in front. i am purchasing a second tiara or something for the reception in case i want to take off the veil and still have a princessy headpiece.

I always wanted to wear it all night but since I have a single layer cathedral, it's coming off right after the ceremony. However, I will have two orchids in my hair after I take the veil off so it will still look pretty for the reception.

i wore my mil crown from her wedding. the original veil was attached, but had to be removed because it was ruined from being in the attic. when i got my own i had it in a comb. my hair was in a bun in the middle of the crown and the comb was underneath the bun which made removable. by the time we got to the rh i wanted it off. everytime i sat it got stuck...so on and so forth. so it went by, by

I will wear mine until I get sick of it, then when it comes off, the tiara will stay in, so Ill still have something there.

I had a waterfall fingertip veil and I kept in on the entire time!!! It didn't annoy me one bit

i purposely got an elbow length veil because i want to be able to wear it all day long! i may take it off if it gets too annoying. but the way i see it, andi agree with christy on this....you only get to be a bride once - how many other opportunities will you get to wear a veil and not have people stare at you like you're crazy!!?

never thought about that...... i know ill keep it on, at least through the first dance...
