Re: Do you plan to sell your wedding dress after the wedding?
I'm keeping mine. My parents bought it for me, and I have every intention of saving it.Nope, not saving it for any reason in particular - there will be no children to wear it one day or to make christening outfits for. It's just something I want to keep. I don't need to sell it and I don't want to sell it.
I just plan to have it cleaned and preserved. No rhyme or reason to it - it's just what I want.

Re: Do you plan to sell your wedding dress after the wedding?
I probably wont because my dress was a lot, so I know that I couldn't sell it for 1/4 the price. If I could get half I would totally sell it.

Definitely keeping it - I like the idea of using it to make throw pillows or something else.

I am definitely keeping my dress. I couldn't sell it. I get very attached to things that simbolize something special to me.

Re: Do you plan to sell your wedding dress after the wedding?
I'm thinking about donating mine to one of the charities that sells them and uses the money to help people (like women with breast cancer). I don't plan on having children, so there won't be any daughters to pass it on to, and my mom preserved her dress but neither my sister or I are wearing it, so I just don't see the point in keeping it when it could do some good for someone else.PS: When I told my future brother-in-law my plan, he couldn't believe it. He said: 'The Queen of Clutter isn't going to keep her wedding dress?!?!'

Re: Do you plan to sell your wedding dress after the wedding?
I really don't know what I'm going to do with my dress. I'd like to sell it but I don't know how much I could get for it, so I may end up keeping it. I don't really have the space to store it though.

I'm thinking of selling...i don't want to keep it in my closet hoping that my future daughter (if any) will wear it. I didn't wear my mom for sure.

I plan on having my future children's Christening gowns made from it....the skirt portion, anyway.
I am either doing that, or saving it for my daughter or my nieces, whoever wants to wear it (if anyone).

Re: Do you plan to sell your wedding dress after the wedding?
I am making mine into a christening dress for my future kids. Also, my dress was pretty beat up by the end of the night. Somone stepped on my train and ripped the train during the last song. It also got very dirty from dancing and walking on the beach.
I couldn't imagine selling it!
