Do you plan to spray tan or use a tanning bed before your day?

I think i'll look more healthy and slimmer with a tan. I'm not sure if I should go the spray tan route or do the actual tanning bed. Obviously the spray tan is healthier but I'm afraid of streaking. Also with the bed I'd get a base tan and when I go to mexico I wont burn as easily.

FH refuses to tan so he's afraid we'll look funny next to each other.

Ah decisions, decisions.....

I'm going to spray tan. Since I'm at the VERY end of summer, I'll have a natural tan but inevitably I'll have some tan lines from wearing sun dresses/tanks ect. The spray tan should even everything out....it's great for contouring also- my arms could use it

I think I'll tan in a bed a few times. I want that base tan for the HM! And the spray tans or self tanners sometimes scare me. I don't want to look streaky or orange. I did the spray tan once before and I don't remember it doing much other than choking me (the way it sprays all over, it was hard to hold my breath). My memory is like a goldfish so if I did have color it could be that I just totally forgot about it!

I am going to tan in a tanning bed. I did spray tan once and hated it so I'm going to stick with the tanning bed because I know what work on me.

You ladies that are getting married in the spring/ summer months are lucky. At least you wont be pasty white like me.

oh i was pasty beforehand lol, if you think about in april not like its beach weather so i wasnt able to get naturally tanned before. I went to vegas 3 weeks before and thought oh great perfect but NOPE. It was TOO hott there and that sun was blaring, i saw ppl burning up right away and i said forget this i cant take a chance. Not only about burning badly but i just all of a sudden got scared about not tanning right, so while all my friends hung out at the pool they laughed at me that i went to sunset tan in the palm hotel and paid for a tan. At least it was even, not burnt and came out nice.

Also dont forget about make up with bronzer in it your make up artist can add a little color to your face

I am a winter wedding and I am naturally pale, so being tan, even a spray tan, would look ridiculous. I have tested it out and I am just going to even out my arms and chest with my neutrogena micro spray tan because my arms are slightly darker naturally than my chest. It hasn't rubbed off on my clothes at all and I haven't had any streaking or anything.

I am still deciding on this as well. I am afraid with spray that it will rub off on my dress. And I have had melanoma so the tanning bed isn't for me. So I may just be a pasty bride.

Originally I wanted to go tanning but I think I'm changing my mind. I keep seeing and reading things about how white dresses actually enhance the skin tone and a tanned body can tend to look more orangy against the dress. I might just go au naturale and let the dress do it's job of bringing out my skin tones. Hopefully!

tanning bed....starting in June...then its SPF 80 for the whole summer....i will still prob get some tan lines, so a few days before i will get a airbrush to hide any lines!

I want to tan but my derm. is soooo against it. She told me she's seeing more and more girls come in my age with skin cancer from the tanning beds. I'm too scared to risk it considering my mom had skin cancer. I might try out the spray tan before the wedding and see how that looks in photos.

doing the spray tan, I never tan evenly in the sun, I get red and blotchy but I did a spray tan and I LOVED the way it looked so thats what I'm going with!!!
