I think i'll look more healthy and slimmer with a tan. I'm not sure if I should go the spray tan route or do the actual tanning bed. Obviously the spray tan is healthier but I'm afraid of streaking. Also with the bed I'd get a base tan and when I go to mexico I wont burn as easily.
FH refuses to tan so he's afraid we'll look funny next to each other.
Ah decisions, decisions.....

I want to tan but my derm. is soooo against it. She told me she's seeing more and more girls come in my age with skin cancer from the tanning beds. I'm too scared to risk it considering my mom had skin cancer. I might try out the spray tan before the wedding and see how that looks in photos.
my mom had skin cancer as well - melanoma.....and my sister and i are always at the dermatologist getting moles looked at and biopsied....im not supposed to go in the sun - had a few bad moles - not cancer though but they could have become cancerous, so that is why i spray tan.......
just make sure you go light with the spray tan.....

My wedding is in august so I'm just going to try to get as much free beach sun in June & July. If I need to even anything out I'll go for a stand up tanning bed.

I'm definitely doing airbrush tanning. I won a gift certificate at the 09 shower for it, and had it done before we went to Argentina 2 weeks ago. It was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone. NOTHING LIKE MYSTIC!!! I've done Mystic a million times and just hate it. This is SOOO great!! I went to Beach Bum in Greenvale, but they have a bunch of locations. It starts at $45 each session, but if you buy a package it's cheaper. FM me for more info!!!

I'm hoping to not have to do this, I'm gonna chance it until the beginning of June, hoping we get some warm weather and i can lay out and get just a light glow. FH plays hockey outdoors all the time so his face is always nicely tanned but I'm sooo pale so I need some color on my face.
If all else fails, I'll try the tanning bed for a couple of sessions.

I am going to a tanning bed. I like to control the level to which I tan and I do not want to get any tanlines whatsoever. I know it is bad for you and I will never do it again and I want to look nice on my wedding and honeymoon. Also our wedding is abroad and we will arrive 10 days early, so I cannot go spray tanning, as I do not know where to go and cannot trust proper application. I am also afraid that it will not look natural or even....

Definitely Tanning bed.. i did that for my sisters wedding back in 06.. looked awesome. i started to go a few months before the wedding about 2x a week..
I think the spray tans can be a little weird looking if they aren't done right.. and what happenes if it comes off on your dress!! oh god..

I just recently started doing the tanning bed to get ready for the wedding. My shower was this weekend, so that was nice, even though it wasn't TOO noticeable yet.

I don't plan on doing either. It's not worth the risks to me (spray tan-you can look orange, tanning bed-there's always the risk of burning).

Bed tanning for us.. lol. We've gone togher over the years, so we know how many times to go and for how long... so that's what we're sticking with lol

def tanning bed. I'm too scared to do the spray tan, it definitely rubs off, unless you plan on doing in several days before and then whats the point if it already starts to fade?
however i did hear about this place in Great Neck called Brazil Bronze that is supposed to be a totally different level of spray tan and great for weddings etc. I just googled them and it looks like they are a vendor on here too
