If you do, how does it help you? Does it give you clarity, a sense of peace, hope, all three?

Re: Do you pray?
This year I prayed a lot. It gave me a strong sense of peace as I wrestled with why G-d presented me and my family with many emotional hardships. It helped me vent my sadness in a productive way.

Re: Do you pray?
I pray all the time and sometimes dont even realize it. I talk to God when I need help, answers, etc. I think I talk to God at least once a day. It makes me feel safe and it keeps me calm. Every night, when FH goes home, I ask God to always bless him and keep him safe and it makes me feel better.
I still go to Church every Sunday as well. I was raised in a family that believes that God gives you 168 hours every week, so you can devote 1 of those hours to him to say thank you for the things he's given you. I plan to carry this on with my children in the hopes that they take their religion seriously, unlike FH who literally lives across the street from our Church and still never goes.
Even if you're not religious but you need help or guidance, try the serenity prayer. It always works for me...
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change... The patience to change the things I can... And the wisdom to know the difference
