I am fortunate to work in a profession where I go out to business lunches fairly often. It has become common practice to order a variety of appetizers and entrees to share with one another. I am ok with this. However the past couple of weeks, someone at the table ordered soup and offered to share it. This has happened quite a few times (different people). I was totally skeeved by this. I would never think of sharing soup except with FH.
I guess my questions are:
1. Do you like to share your food? 2. Would you even think of sharing soup?

I would never share soup, unless there is a big bowl and 2 smallers ones. That is a tad bit too intimate for me. I share soda, with my GF all the time. I guess it depends on who it is. If I am out with a friend and we order different things and he/she says try this/ take a taste, I probably would, but to share soda or soup with a co-worker is a straight no-no.

I have shared my food (although after my sticky rice incident-I might not anymore) but would NEVER, EVER share soup. That's just icky.

If everyone orders a bunch of appitizers and we all share it, that doesnt bother me (as I am used to that when we did it with co-workers)
Food from my plate i only share with FI.
Soup no no no..share with no one and i would be skeeved if someone wanted to share it with me...

I would never share soup. Appetizers, maybe, if they picked them up with a clean fork and put them on their own plate. I don't know, maybe I am too cautious....

I shared food with a girl I used to work with. We've been friends for years. BUT if it was someone else I would make them get their own bowl/plate and use something CLEAN to take my food out of my dish.

Well wait a minute Was there a bowl or cup that they wanted you to pour it in? I have ordered large soups and poured some into a cup for someone who wanted some. As long as there saliva doesnt get on anything I'm eating or drinking, it doesnt bother me

No Jodi , they expect you to dip a spoon in their bowl. Totally disgusting!!! I would not bring this up, but this happened to me 3 times in 3 weeks, I thought I was missing out on something.

I will share finger foods, but soup, or anything that needs to be bitten or licked is OFF LIMITS!
