We are having 150 ppl at our wedding. do we split the list 75 each? Or does it really depend on how many ppl we know.

I think you should plan to split. It would only be fair that way unless one of you has less than 75 ppl to invite.

Go through family first, close friends, co-workers and then B-list. I am not doing 50/50 but, if that is what you have to do to make everyone happy then go for it. I am all about fairness, even though I will have more on my list

my whole list is 100, meanwhile FH family alone is 130!!!! so, no 50/50

mine's not 50/50 b/c i have a bigger family. If you can split it so its even that would be nice..it just didn't turn out like that for us.

I am splitting the list 50/50 b/c he have a bigger family but I have more people that I know so its only fair.

we made our own lists seperately and then we came together and made one big one and went over it toghether and sorted it out and fixed a few things

i think it depends on your situation.
We're not doing that bc it would become a mess if we tried to.
FH has 30 first cousins and most are married, he has 9 aunts and uncles and so on, so obviously a very large family. I have 4 first cousins and i am the oldest and none are married and infact 2 are very young. Fh's family alone is at least 100ppl and most of my family can fit at one table, s it wouldn't be fair to tell him he has to have same amount of people as me

yeah we're not doing 50/50 because he only has like 20 people on his list...i would never ever make him do that.

I think if you both have similar size families then split it....but like with my case, FH has a HUGE family and I don't so I got to invite more of my friends.
