I've been engaged 3 months already and I still slip up and call him boyfriend sometimes. Does this happen to anyone else??

not anymore - we've been engaged since June of last year! It was definitely an adjustment after calling him boyfriend for 9 years! I can't imagine when we can call them our 'husbands' that's gonna be weird!

LOL, I JUST did this yesterday at work, it still feels weird to say 'my fiance'! But I'm working on it!
I do enjoy the feeling of validation the word fiance gives me though, makes it seem to people like he's more a part of my family and more imporant than when he's my boyfriend.

Not anymore, he's the one who slips sometimes and calls me his girlfriend! Once he found out how annoyed I got he's been a lot better about it

I still do that at work sometimes-that's the only time i really don't refer to him by his 1st name (wit my co-workers) so i fond myself saying BF instead of FI!

I still do on occasions...it usually happens when im at work and people don't know his name..i have a tendency to just say boyfriend and then i catch myself! I try to make it a point now to stop doing it

My family and friends all yell at me because i still call him my 'boyfriend'. FH gets so angry at me for calling him my boyfriend!!

we've been engaged for over a year now- I still call him boyfriend sometimes.
I can't wait to call him 'husband'. I think 'fiance' sounds somehow superficial to me. I don't know, I guess I'm weird.

i definitely find myself saying boyfriend rather than fiancee. Sometimes it's just easier - people know who I'm talking about haha

I had no problem adjsuting! haha the next day & every day simce I call him my fiance..he on the other hand still refers to me as his gf at times & I'm always teasing him like oh really?? ig you have a gf then you're in trouble! haha

Definately! Certain times it's just easier to say BF like around certain ppl at work and certain family members. Half of FH's family doesn't believe we're really getting married so I guess after the STDs go out, everyone will be bombarded with that word

omg this is an everyday occurance for me....people are constanly correcting me even though we've been engaged since April! I actually slip up more than he doess haha

I never do. I use to refer to him as my husband at times even before we offically got engaged. Its even easier for me to say it now that we actually have a wedding planned
