We'll still celebrate it in some way. Although im sure there will be times where we say we acknowledge it and not do something big bc honestly February is too hectic for us. His bday is 2/5, we met 2/10, started dating 2/17, my bday is 2/15, then theres vday on 2/14. We dont celebrate 2/10 but we always do acknowledge it. When he met me he probably thought 'OH GREAT' i meet this girl right before v-day so i already have to do this but then her bday is the next day

Yup! We met in January (dont remeber the day...although he claims we met 6 months before but I was too stuck up to say hi)....we began going on dates in mid January and offically began dating on 2-17 ( I was 16 yrs old).

We couldnt cellebrate my b-day or v-day together becuase he had to work and I had school, so we went on a date on 2-17 and that was that....

it can be hectic but its not that bad. Although im sure you know, many times you get 1 big gift or v-day and your bday celebration are combined lol

yeah...he says he had said hi...and I ignored him...

he thinks that he can be slick and combine the brithday-anniversary celebration....and I sometims let him get away with it..but usually
we'll do a dinner and flowers thing for the annviersary and go dancing/clubbing for the b-day...and a present of course...

Also I just noticed that our 'court house' wedding anniversary is on 5-16 (we got married in 05)...one day away from yours....freaky....
We got married in college...and broke...and now we got married after college....and it left us broke....lol...

like youre going to say hello back to everybody who just says hi dh also says the night we met i was ignoring him at first. I always say, what was i gonna do start talking to you or staring at you to get your attention, i dont think so lol

Yeah it makes easier for them to get away with it. BUt then again its understandable, not like we expect to go to dinner on v-day, bday and anniversary.

i just saw what you wrote about the whole courthouse part. That is so weird and funny

Our 5 year dating anniversary was 9/2 we did our tradition of going to the four seasons in nyc and then a broadway show.

I asked him if he wants to just do our wedding anniversary and he said no, that we will celebrate both...He loves four seasons i think that is why he doesnt want to give it up

My FH proposed to me on our dating anniversary so the day will always have a special meaning. I hope to keep celebrating it!

Same here. Thats why it will always be a special day in my heart.

Our dating anniversary is on new years eve so there is always a celebration but we wont do gifts for it anymore.

ofcourse we celebrate when we 1st started dating. W/o that date there would be no weddind date. We will celebrate both

Our dating anniversary is also our engagement anniversary and we've already decided we will always go to the restaurant where he proposed (Degrazia) on December 27th
