Do you still celebrate your Dating Anniversary?? (with Poll)

Me and DH will be dating 7 years on 12-4-08. Since our first Anniversary we have always gone to Mamma Lombardis for dinner and have gotten eachother a small gift. Now that we are married we decided to still continue to go out to dinner, but eliminate the gift buying. I just want to know what all you ladies are doing? Are we the only ones who will celebrate 2 anniversary's? I feel its important to remember our dating anniversary because its the day I met the man who completed me.

Our dating anniversary is St. Patty's Day-so yeah...we'll still celebrate like the good Irish couple we are!! lol...

I think we will still awknowledge it, but I dunno if we will go all out anymore.

Our 6 year anniv was 9/1 -- we said 'happy 6 year anniv!' and went out to dinner but no gifts. I imagine it will continue like that in the future -- either dinner out or a nice dinner in.

We also acknowledge our monthly annivs, since it's the first of the month and easy to remember (ex: today is 73 months ) but probably won't continue that. (we just say... happy 73 months ha)

Our dating anniversary is Feb 4, and our wedding anniversary will be Feb 17, so we'll probably just celebrate them jointly. We usually go to Ruth's Chris for dinner to celebrate, and I'd like to continue to do that

def. both - our wedding is 3 weeks shy of our dating ann. our engagement day is a few days shy of our dating ann. as well - so june is a big month for us..

09er crashing...FH asked me out on Valentine's Day, so I guess we will just celebrate that the way any other couple would, and celebrate our wedding anniversary in March. It's pretty convenient, actually! Right before we get married will be the last time it's our anniversary, I guess- 6 years!

I have been married for 5 yrs. we married in court in 2003, began dating in 1999, and renewed (married in church) in August of 08.

We have always celebrated every anniversary and still will (now its 3 of them...lol)

We do something different for each anniversary, you have to spruce it up. One year we went to a simple dinner for our dating anniversary(even though we were married)...and later went to the Dominican Republic for our wedding anniversary

Another year we went skiing for our dating anniversary, and dinner for our wedding anniversary...

Oct 17 will be our 7 year anniversary.... FH and I said we worked so hard to reach 7 years and to have it knocked down to 1 stinks So we will celebrate both but only give presents for 1

This anniversary will actually be the first anniversary that we will not be celebrating together b/c we will be at our B-PARTIES!!!!!

We'll still celebrate it in some way. Although im sure there will be times where we say we acknowledge it and not do something big bc honestly February is too hectic for us. His bday is 2/5, we met 2/10, started dating 2/17, my bday is 2/15, then theres vday on 2/14. We dont celebrate 2/10 but we always do acknowledge it. When he met me he probably thought 'OH GREAT' i meet this girl right before v-day so i already have to do this but then her bday is the next day

i want to celebrate our dating anniversary next year on may 8th because it will be our 10 year anniversary, after that, i think maybe we'll just drop it since it's right around mother's day, his mom's bday and my bday and we always end up spending too much in may, lol!

by drop it, i mean the gift giving, lol!

We don't really celebrate it any more....it was last Friday and DH did tell me happy 96-month-iversary But we were on our way to another wedding....

I don't know if we will or not it is October 20th and our wedding date will be the October 10th so maybe in a small way but nothing crazy.

Holly crap...what a coincidence....my b-day is 2-15 and our datting anniversary is 2-17...

To me, it is more important than our wedding anniversary. They are only four days apart but I would like to celebrate both. Maybe one with a dinner and one just ordering in and renting a movie. After our first wedding anniversary, no gifts for either
