Do you still get things thrown at you if you are getting married at a hall vs a church?
I know it's tradition to throw rice, petals, bubbles, etc. at the newly married couple when they leave the church.
What do you do when you get married at the reception hall?
Do you still get things thrown at you?
If so, when? In the hall chapel or when you walk into the cocktail hour room?

We got married at the RH but didn't have anything thrown at us. Instead our guests waved bell/ribbon wands while we were walking back up the aisle, after we were announced DH & DW.
I've also seen it done with rose petals that were thrown as the couple walked back up, it was very pretty!!

when my BIL got married they didn't have anything thrown at them after the ceremony instead they had stuff thrown at them when they left the reception at the end of the night

We got married at our hall and had rose petals thrown as we came back up the aisle!

I really want something thrown at us. I'm glad you had petals thrown at you! I think we will do the same.

Hmmm, I was wondering the same thing. If you get married at the RH, do you give out petal cones to everyone or just the people that are sitting in the isle seats?

I got married at my hall. I had 2 of my friends give out the petal cones after most of the guests were seated, right before we were about to start, and the guests threw them at us as we walked back down the aisle after we were married.

We got married at the hall but didn't have anything thrown at us. For some reason, I just didn't want it. I have no idea why. LOL But I didn't miss it.

We're getting married outside of our RH and will have bubbles blwon as we walk back up the aisle.

Glen Island allows rose petals as long as they are not the black magic roses, which they feel stains. We did hot pink and light pink rose petals.
