do you think

do you think

I should buy the men who do our sword ceremony (tradition at Marine Corp Weddings) a gift as well as the groomsmen?

The Merchan Marine Chapel provides service men to do this for us. I was thinking USMC zippos or somethign small just to say thank you.

Is it necessary? My FH and family say no but I think it is nice of them to do it (though I'm sure they are forced, lool) and wanted to thank them.

If you want to, just to say thank you why not but I don't think you have to.

As most things I don't think it's required but I think it's a very sweet way to say Thank You.

Our saber bearers were friends so they recieved leatherman just like the rest of the guys.
I wouldn't get them anything if you don't know them but maybe if they are cadets ask who ever your point of contact is and maybe supply them with lunch or something the week after your wedding as a thank you... some of Dh's friends used to do weddings at USAFA all the time and most just appreciated being handed a six pack by a groomsman as they were leaving.
