i should put black tie optional on my invites?? its a late sat night wedding. its literally only close fam and friends that are invited. i feel like they all know to dress nicely bc all my aunts want to wear gowns and uncles know to dress nice. also, 90% of our friends that are invited are in the bridal party. my mom said its not necessary. what do you think??

Re: Do you think........
I don't think it's necessary if you know all your guests are planning on dressing nice. I never knew this, but according to I think Emily Post, it is against ettiquete to do this b/c you are like telling your guests what to wear. If though, you think some guests may not understand the formality of your occasion, then add it.

If the people that you are inviting usually dress nice anyway then I wouldn't put it in. I would only include it if I were worried about how many of the people would dress
