DOC is needed?

I've been thinking about, but I'm not really sure about the prices and if I spend another penny that was not planned to be spent this will be FH ' '

OMG, let me say this...if i had to plan the whole wedding over, i would have budget for a DOC first thing after getting engaged and wouldve paid more than i actually did. she was priceless to me on the wedding day. i loved her so much and cant imagine my wedding day without her. i could cry thinking about how much i loved her, lol.

believe me, i was just there and completely understand how hard it is to squeeze one more cent of the budget but in retrospect, i would get a DOC a billion times over.

eta; couldve i have an awesome wedding without a DOC, yes. would i have been much more stressed, frazzled and not have a clue what to do at some points during the day, 100%. if not for the whole day, then i think the most important was for getting ready, the ceremony and up untl entrances at the reception.

i think bms and moms/aunts are awesome and totally can help out a lot but they dont do this everyday for a living so theyll be able to help you but only once there is an issue or whateva. a DOC is prepared for every situation before it happens and works to avoid things prior to them happenning.

seriously, if you want to know a list of things that she did, just let me know,

I used Francesca from Dazzling Affairs.

I'm very torn about this myself; I'm interested to see the responses.

I think it depends on your situation, your trust in your BP, and your relationship with your mom/stepmom/grandma...whoever is your 'mom' figure in your life, etc.

I didn't get one; we're working with a tight enough budget as it is, and I trust that the people at the hall who are paid to help make the day run smoothly will do so. If they have questions, my sister and best friend will be on top of things, as will my mom.

However, if we weren't working with a budget and I felt like it was something that would help make the day run smoothly, then I would possibly get one.

See, in your case I would probably try to work it into the budget. You have a really big BP and one extra person to help wrangle them for photos and intros and such would probably be very much worth it.
