depends on the church... my church allows NOTHING!! no rice no bird seed no flower petals... nothing... we have to use bubbles outside after the ceremony
hmmmmmmm...thats a toughie. I don't think most churches would go for it. But it really sounds cool!
Cool idea - But i'm going to say probably not. Most chruches won't let you throw stuff OUTSIDE !!
Considering most churches don't even let you sprinkle rose petals, I would say probably not. Only one way to find out though! Call them.

Just like everyone said it depends on the church.. if they allow rose petals I don't see why they wouldn't allow leaves. If they do allow they'll probably ask for you to find someone to clean it up afterwards.
