Do you think I can pull a wedding together in 7 months?

We are trying to decide to wed this summer or the summer of '05. '05 seems so far away. However, do you think it is crazy to only leave 7 months to plan? (Summer '04 dates are still open)

I think it's very possible, but get moving soon. The sooner you pick a reception site, the sooner you can book everything else. Good luck!

I knew someone who did it. They engaged at the end of march and got married at the end of Oct. They did not realize how much everything was going to be all at once but it came together nicely.

If you are not horribly picky about vendors (a lot are already booked) and you are motivated, go for it. Just be prepared that it may take a lot of phone calls just to find out who is available. Good luck!

You can certainly pull a wedding together in 7 months ..I'm doing it right now!

You just have to start planning VERY soon!

I was engaged this past December 20, and our wedding date is set for July 25 2004... so far we have been really lucky and are doing very well .. church and hall is set .. but you don't have as much time to be as choosy as when you have a long engagement.

I just didn't want to wait until 2005 since we have a lot of other priorities coming up ..that is why we planned the summer '04 wedding ..

You can do it, but its a very individual thing on whether to have a long engagment or a short one ...

Actually, a girl I know from work pulled her's together in THREE months! It's all possible if you can handle it.

O it is defintely possible. Get a move on and you will have it planned in no time.

its possible - you don't need tons of time, just determination and flexibility - you may not get all the vendors you might have originally wanted (but maybe you also will!) but know that then it wasn't meant to be! good luck!

I was in the same position, but we chose to wait a year and a half.... June 2005.... its not as far as you think!! This way you can take the time to choose the vendors that you really want... and you can also have an engagement party and enjoy being engaged...after all, it only happens once, right? JMO

I am also doing it...we were engaged in Sept '03 and getting married in April '04. Once you pick your reception place...you can work on everything else! Good luck!

Got engaged in August, getting married, in February...I am glad I only had six months. I can't wait till the wedding ...I am not going to miss the planning lol

I did it in 7 months!!!! Started in January 03 married July 03....But we went small and picked a Friday afternoon...

I think you can definitely do it if you are determinded enough. I have 2 friends who planned their weddings in 6 months, Both worked out extremely well. Good luck!

I planned a huge wedding in only 2 months...you can definitely do it in 7.
