I was debating over whether or not to get a trim....
i am wearing my hair half up, in curls...i am afraid if i get a trim they will cut too much off, and i dont see spending $40-50 just to get like a 1/2 inch.
what would you do....do you think it is necessary? the last time i got a trim was about 2 months ago, the ends might need a little cleaning up, but when my hair is curled you cant really tell.....
i was thinking of waiting till the day after the wedding so that they could do a little more of a style/cut. What would you do???

I wouldn't cut it until after the honeymoon. The reason is because they can F it up. Check out this old thread I posted back in January... I went to get my hair cut asked for half and inch trim and got a BOB!!!!! The pics are there. I think they will convince you NOT to do it!

I wouldnt touch it , but thats just me. One little slip of the scissors - could u imagine!!?? total nightmare!

i just called the salon and canceled my appt. I think you ladies are right....and even an inch off can make a difference in the style of my hair, i really like it long...i think i will wait till after the wedding

aw, thanks! i think the curls will help it too...last time i got it cut she kinda f-ed it up, so i was going to try a new place....but it's better off that i wait to try a new place, lol

I think cutting the dead ends off might make you feel better but I would't chance it. Not that it is the same thing, but I went to get my eyebrows waxed once and they took a chunk. I was devasted. The point is, even if it is someone you go to regularly, they are human and still can make mistakes. You will have no time to grew it out. JMO
